For the first time since the late nineties, Microsoft Internet Explorer is no longer the most popular web browser in Poland. Mozilla Firefox scores the highest marketshare percentage ever, 45.3%, leaving MSIE behind by 0,3 percentage points.

Yesterday was the second day of the Polish Mozilla Developer Center Sprint. As all the articles that where scheduled for the whole sprint had been fixed on its first day, on Sunday we focused on the articles scheduled for the next one. :) The results are quite impressive, as almost all of those got fixed [...]

We did it!
According to ranking.pl, one and a half year after releasing version 1.0, Firefox has a 20% market share in Poland and the total Gecko market share is at 21.2% here. Opera is also doing well at 7.2%.

Gemius is a web statistics company which provides its services to many sites in Poland, including all the major web portals like Onet or Gazeta. Aggregated whole-Poland statistics from Gemius are presented at www.ranking.pl. Gemius has also recently opened its subsidiares in the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Ukraine.
